Funny Things and Awesome Dogs

Really?  You want a blog this week?  You wouldn’t if you’d seen the inside of my brain!  It’s a disaster in there!

Yeah, I’m still swamped with craziness.  So how about a collection of fun links instead?  🙂

EW’s poll results for “Who should play Katniss in the Hunger Games movie?”  I must admit I don’t know most of these gals.  But I’m all for an unknown actress!  It worked for Harry Potter!

I knew I loved Kristen Bell. . .  (P.S. I totally think she could play Katniss if she wanted to, even though she’s not 16 anymore.  Kristen Bell can do ANYTHING!)

Don’t you think they should put an author on Dancing with the Stars?

Which author would you like to see on Dancing with the Stars?  (Not me!  I have no stamina!  And I can’t even WALK in heels, let alone dance.)  :-)  (I voted for Meg Cabot!  Yay Meg!)

Think you want to date a writer?  You might want to think again…

And finally, I think we can all agree that this is the greatest three minutes and thirty-six seconds ever:

DOGS OF AMAZINGNESS!  OMG, how many takes did THAT take?  (Oh, 124, apparently!  Find out how they did it.)  Me: flabbergasted.

Oooh, and who’s going to Jon Stewart’s Rally to Restore Sanity?  October 30, 2010!  Washington, D.C.!  I’m so there!  That is, if I can figure out how to get the baby there, but he’s a pretty sane little guy, so I think he’ll be in favor of it.  ;-)  Fingers crossed!

More soon (and hopefully not so link-dependent next time!)!

Quote of the Day: “America, the Greatest Country God ever gave Man, was built on three bedrock principles: Freedom. Liberty. And Fear — that someone might take our Freedom and Liberty. But now, there are dark, optimistic forces trying to take away our Fear — forces with salt and pepper hair and way more Emmys than they need.” – Stephen Colbert, KeepFearAlive.com
